| Hello !
Here is my answer to Tim on "mdiaircar" Yahoo! group. Tim's questions well summarize the feelings of people expecting an air car for many years...
------------------------------------ Hi Tim !
You seem very tired and upset with this project, I understand you, and though you still have an eye on it.
I answer in your post...

A few prototypes, shown on videos.

But do you think that indian mechanical engineers from Tata Motors, 5th medium & large pro. vehicles maker in the world, need a range demonstration in the real world to evaluate it ? Can't they calculate the needed power to move a CityCATs or OneCATs in urban cycle, knowing their specifications ? Can't they calculate the energy stored in a compressed air tank ? Can't they use a test bench and simulate the needed power by braking the crankshaft and measure the amount of air used ?
Did Tata Motors give millions US$ to MDI one year ago only for fun ???
Explain me, please !

See the video at: http://www.itmdi-energy.com/news/

The cost can be affordable, if tanks are made in big quantities, in South Africa, India, China.
